The Mount Sterling Farmers Market began in 2017 as a grassroots effort led by community members with the goal of promoting local food access, small businesses, and community gathering, laying the foundation for the market we know today.

The World Premiere of Endymion - Cantata by James West will be held on February 21, 2026, in the Dahl Chapel & Auditorium at Monmouth College, Monmouth, Illinois. The cantata is written for choir, orchestra, piano, and soprano solo.

This performance is free and open to the public, with no ticket sales. There will be a section of reserved seats for family, friends, and donors. For more information on the performance and support, visit

Alex Reymundo and Ron White own & operate Number JUAN Tequila, a small-batch, handcrafted, award-winning Tequila. Alex’s exposure to LIVE standup began in Arlington, TX in 1988. Reymundo proudly boasts about serving Ron White Tequila & a Budweiser right before he hit the stage on Tatersalad’s amateur comedy debut. The two Texas comics emerged & traveled the nation together for the first few years of their early careers.

Western Illinois University Theatre and Dance has announced its 2026-27 season, featuring a lineup of classic theatre, contemporary musical theatre, original dance works, and a showcase highlighting the talents of WIU students and faculty. With sharp wit and playful satire, the play pokes fun at good intentions gone wrong and the stories we tell ourselves about history.
