UPDATE:
Several school districts have late starts or are closed on Thursday, Feb. 6:
- Due to continued icy conditions, Central Lee CSD will transition to a remote learning day on Thursday, Feb. 6.
- Due to icy conditions, all Sandburg campuses will delay classes until noon on Thursday, Feb. 6. Classes starting before noon will not meet.
Due to the poor road conditions, Thursday, Feb. 6 will be an E-Learning Day for Macomb schools. No learning will occur onsite. K-12 students will meet via Microsoft Teams at a specific time and attendance will be taken. Learning experiences will be communicated through the teachers' Daily Tasks document which can be found in Microsoft Teams or in Clever, email or distributed by the classroom teacher. Detailed information regarding E-Learning Days and the start time for the Microsoft Team meeting for each building can be found on the E-Learning page of the district website. Pre-K teachers will email parents at 9 AM with activities students can complete at home.
Thursday, Feb. 6 is E-Learning Day for all Monmouth-Roseville students. Students in grades 9 to 12 should log into your device to find your activities for the day. Students in grades Kindergarten to 8 should work on the packet of activities that were sent home from the teacher.
- Due to icy conditions on country bus routes, A-Town 276 will be closed today, February 6. There will be no evening activities.
- Galesburg District 205 will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 6.
- Central Lee CSD will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, Feb. 6.
- Mediapolis schools are on a two-hour delay on Thursday, Feb. 6.
- Burlington schools will start two hours late tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 6. There will be no morning preschool or morning activities. Childcare will open at 9 a.m.
- West Burlington schools will have a 10 a.m. start on Thursday, Feb. 6.
- Central Lee CSD will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, Feb. 6.
- Mediapolis schools are on a two-hour delay on Thursday, Feb. 6.

The YMCA of McDonough County canceled home delivered meals on Thursday, Feb. 6 for Macomb, Bushnell and Colchester due to icy conditions and there will be no congregate meals at the sites.
The National Weather Service said conditions are expected to improve on Thursday, Feb. 6, by late morning and afternoon as temperatures climb above the freezing mark.
Wednesday, Feb. 5 announcements
The National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisories for the entire TSPR listening region.
The advisory is in effect from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for Lee, Hancock, and Clark counties, and from noon to 9 p.m. for the rest of the region. Freezing rain and freezing drizzle are expected. Difficult travel conditions are possible.
Due to the weather forecast, the YMCA of McDonough County will close at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5. All scheduled activities are cancelled at the YMCA and the Senior Center. Home delivered meals for Bushnell, Macomb, and Colchester are cancelled, as are congregate meals in the Senior Center.
The WIU Department of Art & Design's First Wednesday event is canceled for February 5.
In addition, several school districts are dismissing students early on Wednesday, February 5, due to the forecast of icy conditions:
- Burlington schools will dismiss students two hours early. There will be no PiECES or afternoon preschool. Childcare will close at 2:30 p.m. There will be no after school activities or practices.
- The West Burlington School District will dismiss students at 1:30 p.m.
- The Nauvoo Colusa School District will dismiss students at 11:50 a.m.
- The Central Lee School District will dismiss students at noon.
- The Dallas City School District will dismiss students at noon. All evening activities are canceled.
- The LaHarpe School District will dismiss students at noon. All evening activities are canceled.
- The Illini West School District will dismiss students at 12:30 p.m. All evening activities are canceled.
