Five Burlington homes dating from Iowa’s territorial days to the Roaring Twenties will open their doors to visitors Sept. 26 and 27 as part of the annual Heritage Trust Tour of Homes.

Work will begin next week on construction of a new water treatment plant. The single-story structure will be built at the northwest corner of Ward and Grant streets.
