RUSHVILLE — Listen to your friends, your neighbors, your fellow community members, the Rushville Community Band is back, and you won't want to miss it. Every summer, families spread out their lawn chairs on the historic Rushville Square, kids chase fireflies near the gazebo, and neighbors catch up while live music fills the evening air. It's one of those simple, good things that people around here look forward to, and this year, the

Community Band is bringing it back for three special nights:

● Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 7:00 PM

● Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM

● Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 7:00 PM

Performances are held at the gazebo on Rushville Square and are always free and open to the public. Bring a lawn chair, bring the bug spray, and bring the whole family.

Kids on Campus offers fun, engaging learning experiences designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and confidence in young learners. Sessions allow children to explore new interests, build skills, and have fun while learning.

$35 per session / $105 for full week

The Fort Madison Farmer's Market is growing, and we want you to be part of it! Join us on Mondays at Central Park from 4-6 pm in June-September.

The market emphasizes locally grown produce and products, ensuring that all items are sourced from Illinois growers. This focus on local sourcing helps to reduce transportation emissions and supports the regional economy.
The market welcomes new vendors and offers a variety of goods, including fruits, vegetables, baked and canned goods, as well as artwork and crafts. It operates between 3 and 6 PM, making it accessible for afternoon and early evening shoppers.
