We cross 3 sets of train tracks on this tour. Please note that crossing and stopped trains may delay our tour by up to 15 minutes.

The WIU Department of Art & Design will be holding a sale featuring original works of ceramics, prints, jewelry, photography and more. A portion of the proceeds will provide financial support for the students.

The Hancock County Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) Class willhost its annual trade show on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 4 PM-6 PM at the Carthage Learningand Development Center on the CVS campus, 303 2nd Street, Carthage. The Hancock CountyCEO Trade Show is the culminating activity of a year-long accredited entrepreneurship coursedesigned to utilize public/private partnerships that allow a community to connect with its bestresource – its young people. The Hancock County CEO Class is open to all juniors and seniors inthe four county high schools as well as home-schooled students. The trade show highlights eachstudent’s individual business and gives attendees the opportunity to meet the students, hear abouttheir personal businesses and learn more about the CEO program. The event is open to the publicand admission is free. WIU senior art major Emily Sharon will have a solo exhibition, "Older But Not Yet Wiser", on display April 30 through May 10 at the ANNEX Gallery in the Heating Plant Annex.
A reception for the artist will be held Tuesday, May 7 from 4:30-6:00 p.m. The artist will speak about her work at 5:00.
Parking will be allowed near the gallery starting at 4:00
